United Methodist Church
The connection
at your fingertips.
Where you can get
up-to-date information on the church and its people, and you can also
discover
ways to deepen your faith and take action to be in ministry to others.
From spiritual resources, news, to examinations of current issues
that
are important to United Methodists, www.UMC.org continues to be your
connection
to all of the connection. Once a month, UMC.org, reviews a current film
in wide
release. Films are viewed through a spiritual lens, as opposed to
focusing on the art form itself; they are assessed for their spiritual
and
social elements.

open hearts and minds to all people.
Every dollar you give to UMCOR goes to the
program you designate. UMCOR is 100% efficient.
The One Great Hour of
Sharing offering allows UMCOR to make-and to keep-this
promise. OGHS funds the cost of doing business for UMCOR.
UMCOR does not receive apportionment funds or any other world service
funds.

Wesley
Foundation -- Wesley House -- The
University of New Mexico --
The Wesley House
was received from Mr. Chester T. French
in 1960. Mr. French was a philanthropist, Sunday School teacher
and
founder of French Mortuary. Since then the house has gone through
several
phases. Today the house is an active part of the United Methodist
Church. The house is governed by a dedicated group of individuals
who
serve on the Wesley Foundations Board. They meet once a month to
keep the
house up and running for the various students who live in the house and
for the
students who come for the fellowship time. The Wesley House has a
mission
to be "an inviting Christian community on campus, emphasizing
relationships
with Christ, others, and the church, so that we become the active
presence of
Christ." We hold weekly Bible studies, fellowship opportunities
and
are looking forward to all the opportunities that God has planned for
us on the
UNM and TVI campus.
