Wow
the end of
the year is quickly approaching, and as we say good-bye to 2009, we
look back at what an amazing and blessed year we have had. In 2009 the
children have grown in leaps and bounds and learned so much more than I
can say in this letter. With the children growing, as teachers we must
grow too, and boy have the teachers grown along with the daycare! As we
look back we are all amazed with what has been accomplished in 2009. We
hope you are just as amazed.
Not only is the
end of the year upon us, but Christmas as well. We will all celebrate
this month by the children learning that Christmas isn’t just about
Santa Claus and presents, but the birth of Jesus Christ. We will learn
how his mother traveled a long way and how he was born in a manger with
animals not in a warm hospital, like children are born now.
We
will be having
a Christmas party for the children where they will be exchanging gifts
and will be able to sit on Santa’s lap. The children will also be
writing a letter for Santa of the gifts they want this year that they
can give him. You will receive a letter closer to time to let you know
when the children will be having their party along with more
information.
To
allow our
teachers time to celebrate the holiday with their families, we will be
closed on the 23rd,24th,25th,as well as the 31st and 1st. Thank you for
understanding and allowing our teachers to spend time with there
families.
We
do have some
new faces! Mrs. Keesha is back from her maternity leave and we also
have a new teacher Mrs. Sharrina- we are very pleased to have both of
them working with all of us.
