   The United Methodist Church practices Open Communion that all believers might feel welcome to receive our Lord's Supper.
    Our Doctrine is based on Scripture, Tradition, Reason and Experience.
   Silver City First United Methodist Church has been in ministry for 136 years.  The Family that is Silver City First UMC are loving and grateful.
    We are, together, looking to serve our community in many ways.  The primary way to serve is to offer a comfortable, fulfilling, meaningful worship experience for all who come to this church.  To do this, we are a church in transition.  Our plans are not complete, but coming to a new level of development.
   This is a welcoming place to be.  We invite any and all to take part in worship and our many other activities.
